Children's Museum

Samantha and I took our kids to the Terre Haute Children's Museum this week while she was home visiting. Ethan, 18 months, and Raelyn had a great time playing and Reghan was an awesome little baby the whole time!!

Here is Raelyn at the water table. They both had fun splashing in the water!Raelyn kept putting her hand over the water spout and the water would shoot out and hit other kids. She soaked the same boy twice!! He kept looking at me like "Would you do something about her?!?!" :)
Raelyn and Ethan playing side by side (not really playing together, but they are too young for that anyway).

Part of the second floor had a farm theme. Here is Raelyn milking a cow.... probably as close as she will get to actually milking a cow!
In the Toddler Zone, there were big blocks of all different shapes that had velcro on them that were designed to be stuck on a wall of velcro. Raelyn apparently felt that emptying all the blocks out of this circle was way more fun than sticking them to the wall!!

After playing for a couple hours we ate lunch at a little cafe next to the museum. The kids had fun playing but the mommies had just as much fun chatting! Samantha and I have been best friends since 2nd grade, but we live over 3 hours apart so it is hard to get together. Now that I live back in our home town it is easier to plan short visits, but it always goes by so fast!! Samantha's husband was out of town for business for a week, so she decided to come home for the week!! I told her that he needs to go out of town more often! :)
