Doctor's Orders

We have received doctor's orders that Raelyn needs to not grow up so fast!! We had her 1 year check up today and our doctor was impressed at all of the things that Raelyn can do! The words "very advanced" were used :) I said she says about 10 words, can walk by herself for short distances and points at EVERYTHING. To each of these things he responded, "She shouldn't be doing that" lol

She is still a little peanut though! She weighed in at 18lbs 10oz and was 28" long. Here is how she has grown in the past year:

Birth: 7lbs 2oz, 18.5"
1 month: 9lbs, 20.5"
2 months: 11lbs 5oz, 22"
4 months: 14lbs, 24.25"
6 months: 16lbs 4oz, 26"
9 months: 17lbs 15oz, 27.25"
12 months: 18lbs 10oz, 28"

The doctor said that her height and weight are right on target for someone her size...she's just petite!!! The doctor didn't mention anything about it, but it makes me happy to say that Raelyn has never been to the doctor due to being sick!! She's such a healthy liitle girl! Of course she's had a couple colds long the way, but maybe my hyperawareness about germs is paying off! :)
