Like I said in a previous post, I have gestational diabetes and one the potential complications is that the placenta (the organ that nurishes the baby) can get "old" before it is supposed to. To help prevent this, my doctor likes to induce labor about 1 week early, so we have scheduled an induction for Thursday, December 4th. So, unless she decides to come earlier than that we should have the baby either the 4th or 5th!!
No details yet about what time we go in or how long in takes (it varies from woman to woman), but we will keep everyone updated.
